ABOUT THE FILM

Franz is the smallest kid in his class, his voice voice turns high-pitched when he is angry and his teacher, Mr. Zickzack, and the queen-bee of his class, Elfi, are causing him constant headaches. So, when Franz discovers a video by influencer Hank Haber on how to become “a real man”, he seems to have found the solution to all of his problems. However, his two best friends Gabi and Eduard are very skeptical. Things take a turn for the worse when Gabi suddenly disappears. Everyone is at a complete loss where she could have gone, even Gabi’s parents. In an attempt to find their missing friend, Franz and Eduard set off on an exciting adventure. In the end, the trio reunites and find what they thought they had lost: their friendship.

Family movie based on motifs from the book series by the famous Austrian writer Christine Nöstlinger.

A film by Johannes Schmid, 2022, 78 min.
