Join us November 6–20 for FILM|NEU 2025, a film festival presenting new German-language films from Austria, Germany and Switzerland!

ABOUT FILM|NEU

The Film|Neu film festival is Washington DC’s annual celebration of great new films from the German-speaking area. Since 1992, Film|Neu has brought over 300 German-language dramas, comedies, documentaries, short films, and more to filmgoers in the DMV area. This year’s festival will feature three special movie nights, each hosted by one of the festival’s partners. Every movie night will showcase one feature film from the host country, preceded by a short film from one of the other partners, offering audiences a rich mix of cinematic voices and perspectives from across the German-speaking region.
