| art exhibition Ulrike Kaiser
Ulrike Kaiser was born in 1974 in Austria and is currently living and working in Washington DC and Vienna. Mrs. Kaiser is interested in snap-shots of human life; the leading characters in her pictures are people from her direct surroundings, including family members, friends and sometimes herself. Her work is characterized by a unique feeling for composition, shading and color. She often uses subdued earth tones ranging from sand and olive to mauve or alizarin. Soft liquid lines flow and play with geometric surfaces, creating complimentary and contrasting harmonies. Her unique color blends lend themselves like puzzle pieces to a greater whole.

The event was made possible through the generous support of Casa Vinicola Zonin USA (www.zoninusa.com), Wein Bauer Chicago (www.weinbauer.com) Cafe Milano (www.cafemilano.com) , Niccolo, Absolut Vodka (www.pernod-ricard-usa.com) and the cooperation with the American-Austrian Cultural Society (www.american-austrian-cultural-society.com).
The exhibition will run through June 15, 2012.
