The Austrian Embassy was transformed into a Viennese coffeehouse - including Austrian apple strudel, delicious pastries and original Sacher coffee, accompanied by piano music by Austrian composers. Ambassador Dr. Prosl read extracts of Friedrich Torberg's "Die Tante Jolesch" and some very amusing letters written by W.A. Mozart, Professor Obernberger held a interesting lecture on the Vienna coffeehouse, and Ulli Wiesner, president of the American-Austrian Cultural Society, entertained with aphorisms on coffee and coffeehouse. |
