A unique festival of German choral music comes to Washington in May 2009

On Saturday, May 23, 2009, at 5:00 PM, join the Washington Sängerbund and member choruses of the Nordöstlicher Sängerbund for the 50th Sängerfest concert in the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. followed by a Grand Ball at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The concert will feature a chorus of approximately 300 voices plus soloists and the National Gallery of Art Orchestra in German music from folk song to operetta and the classics. The Grand Ball will include an elegant dinner, cash bar, dancing until midnight, and a silent benefit auction.
